Battery Sink
Getting started
- Install Battery Sink on your first device and choose Create new account. The app shows a 12-digit account code.
- On each other device, install Battery Sink, choose Use existing account, and enter the same code.
- Add the Battery Sink widget to your Home Screen, Mac desktop or watch face.
What can be shown
- iPhone, iPad and Mac batteries, from the app on each device.
- Apple Watch, through the Watch app and your paired iPhone.
- Bluetooth accessories that publish their battery to apps, such as many keyboards, mice and game controllers, while they are connected to an iPhone, iPad or Mac running Battery Sink.
Not supported: AirPods, Beats, and most other headphones and speakers. Apple does not let third-party apps read their battery level.
Common questions
Why is my iPhone's reading old? iOS decides when apps run in the background. To keep a locked iPhone reporting, add the Report Battery action to a Shortcuts personal automation, for example when the charger is connected or disconnected, or when battery level changes.
Why is a device grey and marked offline? It has not reported for more than 10 minutes. After 72 hours without a report it is removed.
An accessory shows 0%. Some accessories report 0 to apps even when charged. Battery Sink shows what the accessory reports.
How do I delete my data? Settings, then Delete Account. See the privacy policy.
